Pillar of Shame in Hong Kong

China has removed the Pillar of Shame from the university of Hong Kong. This has led to an international scandal. Galschiot is trying to get the sculpture out.

Solar cells at Galleri Galschiøt

We have mounted 1,400m2 solar cells on the roofs of Gallery Galschiøt. It produces 200,000 kilo watt (kW) electricity. This saves the planet from around 120 ton CO2 every year.

Pillar of Shame at G20 in Rome

The sculpture took part in an activist action in front of the Chinese embassy in Rome.
